Raise Your Spirits

Last week was indeed a very interesting week for me. Many exciting events took place but the one that excited me the most was the Raise Your Spirits Workshop. It was organised by Kaveena, me and the rest of our classmates not forgetting some of our other buddies from the other classes for students from special homes and orphanages. Some time last year, Kaveena and me were quite bored after the PMR exams and we decided to do something different. We got to work and slowly more and more people joined us. It was such an amazing experience looking at so many people wanting to help.. I learnt one thing from the time i started..my heart spoke "Stop thinking that the world is full of bad people .. look .. there are people who want to help" isn't that so true. If we spend our whole life judging people, we just won't have time to love them !! Back to the story... The camp was on last Saturday :- a whole day event. We were all set for the event. The decorations were ready, the chairs were in place and to our utter surprise, the power supply went off!! And then came another lesson for me :- expect the unexpected. But we were lucky that the power supply was back by noon. The speakers for the day were Mr NJ Singam( a Napoleon Hill associate), Mr Harwinder (CEO of In-Control Tech) and Mr Anant Kasibathla (Indian National Memory Record holder). Actually, i learnt the most valuable lesson observing the students. We are fortunate, we take things just so lightly but they who live in orphanages have learnt to value wisdom. There is indeed just so much we can learn from others.
